Gregory Mitchell

Gregory Mitchell, 66, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 2, 1958 to the late Napoleon and Elsie Mitchell.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. To know Greg is to know he was a jokester and always kept a smile on his face. Greg also enjoyed cooking, especially around the holidays.

Greg leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Davon Mitchell, Asia Swain, Toinette Swain, Brittani Roe, Sean Mitchell, and Shane Mitchell; brothers, Nate and James; sisters, Melanie and Margaret Mitchell; grandchildren, Ciara, Nikela, Kayvonna, Devontae, Arianna, JaMarcus, Arianna, Janiya, Ra’Shawn, Ra’Quan, Ra’Mar, Alaysha, Kian, Noah, Lil Sean, Cory, and Malaki; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parent; brothers, Gary, Wayne, Anthony, and Norris; and sister, Carolyn.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024 in the KINLEY Funeral Home Chapel, 1307 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505. Repast to follow.
