Akee Dupree Jones, 41, of Springfield, Ohio went to ride with the Lord on Saturday, June 11, 2022. He was born in Springfield on July 28, 1980 to LaVonda Crawford, and special father, Keith Crawford. He was a hard worker and was making his mark at Honeywell in Columbus, Ohio. Akee's ambition to become a better man matched his strive for greatness! He was accomplishing everything he was moving toward, and Akee's heart was as BIG as he was!! Akee had a passion for old-school cars. He continuously filled people with joy, laughter, and a contagious smile!!! Akee leaves to cherish his memory: his grandmothers, Okareta Henry and Verna McFarlane; parents, LaVonda (Keith Crawford), and Jeff Williams; siblings: Virgil Jones, Nikki (Darnell) Cavitt Benn, Tyrone (Brandi) Williams; his children: Myarah Jones, Akee Jones, Jr., Ja’Niyah Jones, Akee’Leona Jones, A'montanae Jones, and Jaxsyn Thomas; best friend, Joe (Sconie) Johnson; special friend, Lesley Moore; special cousins, Jazzy Howard, Bryant Brown, Dell Brown, and Kelly Brown; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Iverie (Arthur) Dorsey, Robert Williams, and Leroy Henry; aunt, Felicia (James) White; and brothers, Ebony Uwezo Monty Lee Jones, Bryant Lawson, and James White, Jr. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at El Bethel Temple, 2049 Clifton Avenue, Springfield, Ohio 45505.
