Alice Katherine Aylesworth (ne Laughlin, formerly Arneson), 85, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in London, OH. She was born in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota in 1956 and moved to Syracuse, New York in 1958. Alice was co-founder and first president of Tug Hill Tourathon, Inc., begun in 1980. She worked with the New York State (NYS) Department of Environmental Conservation to open trails in Winona State Forest in Oswego County for cross-country skiing, dog sledding, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and other sports. Alice was a former treasurer of May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society, volunteer school music teacher for stringed instruments, licensed real estate agent, and landlord. She was a long-time member of Oasis and a frequent traveler with Road Scholar. Alice was a generous supporter of environmental causes, including Baltimore Woods Nature Center's "Nature in the City" program. Alice leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Peter J. Arneson of Syracuse, New York, Katherine (Jeff) Aiken of Albany, Ohio and Andrew J. Arneson of Portland, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret M. Arneson; and husbands, John F.
