Alice Renee Peters (Ford)

Alice Renee Peters (Ford), 45, of Cincinnati, Ohio was united with our heavenly Father Wednesday, August 26, 2020. She was born January 31, 1975 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, the eldest child of Ilene Cooper, the late Desmond Ford, and the late Moses Peters. She was a loving daughter, sister and mother. Alice graduated from Hughes Center in 1993. She enjoyed having a good time with family and friends and always brought the party. Alice possessed a special gift, making everyone she came in contact with feel like they were the most important person in her world. Alice leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Ilene (Kelvin) Cooper; siblings, Angela Peters, Chante (Charles) Stewart, Anchanet (Sammy) Acosta, Desmond Ford, Mosetta Peters; her children, Demonte (Demonte, Jr., Aubby and A’lani), Deangelo (Unique and unborn daughter), late Desmond (Ja’Riyah, Ayden, Desmond), Dezyre (late Jaseon), (childhood sweetheart, Dion Watson) David, Alexus, James, (Antonio White) TyAhna, King, (Peter Frakes) AyyAhna, Ricardo, Tanea (Davion, late Skylar and unborn child), Markalo (Markalo, Jr., My’Anna, Malaysia and My’Lei), Lil Pete (Nyeir and Promise); nieces, Jaela, Shyra, Weslie,and Moriah Peters; nephews, DeAndre, Samuel, Isaiah, Desmond, Jr., and Dyiar; grandparents, James and Carolyn Ford; her aunt/best friend, Vivian Ford; and a host of other amazing aunts, uncles, cousins and friends—and a special bond with LaTonya and Kendra. She was preceded in death by parents, Desmond Ford and Moses Peters; son, Desmond; and grandparents, James and Juanita Alexander, and Alton and Alice Peters. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Zion Baptist Church, 630 Glenwood Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. Interment: Vine St. Hill Cemetery. NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ohio Governor and our city officials have set guidelines and procedures to follow during public gatherings of funeral services. These restrictions have been arranged with the family. Please allow the family to have their private time during the services being held at 12:00 p.m. A larger gathering may be held at a future date (to be announced) at the discretion of the family.
