Allean "Cookie" Goode, 72, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born in Courtland, Alabama on May 27, 1950 to her loving parents, James and Betty Smith.
She graduated from Hughes High School and later obtained her cosmetology license. Cookie was a beautician for many years. She enjoyed going to bingo and dancing in her wheelchair with one arm up. Cookie loved to laugh. She loved her family and especially her children, Anthony, Andre, and Rose.
Allean leaves to cherish her memory: children, Anthony “T. Goode” Goode, Andre “Dre” Goode, and Rose “Niecey” Goode; sisters, Lorraine Smith, and Emma Benford; brothers, Russell Smith, Charles Smith, and Berry Smith; seven grandchildren: Anthony “Lil’ Tony” Whitmire, Andraya Mays, DeShawn “Dee” Larkin, Lamont “Mookie” McCollum, Andre “Lil’ Dre” Goode, Arman Goode, Peyton Gales; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by both parents; sisters, Mary Louise Turner, and Dixie Darks; brother, Ricky Smith; and her lifelong partner; William (Will) Foster.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 2961 Madison Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45209.
