Andrew N. Huffman

Andrew N. Huffman, 55, affectionately known as, Drew or Big Drew, of Cincinnati, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Jewish Hospital due to COVID-19. He was born on May 10, 1965 to Andrew G. Huffman and Neomi Reid. Drew graduated from Aiken High School. Upon graduating, Drew went on to serve in the United States Marine Corp. He and his wife, Corinne, were married on February 14, 2010 in Cincinnati, Ohio at New Unity Church of God. Big Drew loved to cook and was a chef for the Cincinnati Bengals for 15 years. He also cooked for the Cincinnati Reds. Drew ran the Machine Room, Diamond Club, Madonna Bar Grille, Freddy’s, Newport Ultra Lounge, as well as, Kickbacks, until his illness. Drew was a Loving Gentle Giant. He always smiled and never complained about anything. He loved his family and friends dearly. Andrew went out of his way for any and everybody that he crossed paths with. He was known as Baby Whisperer to his family, because he could put any crying baby to sleep right away. He loved to ride his bike to and from work. Andrew was a hardworking man. Andrew leaves to cherish his memory: loving wife of 10 years, Corinne Monique Huffman; children, Andrew, Jr., Andrea, Andrew II, Guynisha, Nehemiah, Nicholas, Elijah, Ja-Nise, and Ramon; a host of grandchildren; mother, Neomi Reid; brothers, Nathan Huffman and Dominic L. Adams; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Zion Baptist Church, 630 Glenwood Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. Burial: Spring Grove Cemetery. NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ohio Governor and our city officials have set guidelines and procedures to follow during public gatherings of funeral services. These restrictions have been arranged with the family. Please allow the family to have their private time during the services being held at 11:00 a.m. A larger gathering may be held at a future date (to be announced) at the discretion of the family.
