Beautine Applin, 95, of Springfield passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 surrounded by family. She was born May 25, 1924 in Sparta, Georgia to Jack and Ada Smith. She was a resident in Southbrook Nursing facility. Beautine was a lifelong member of Restored Life Ministries, formally St. Luke Baptist Church, where she was a willing worker, a member of several gospel groups; such as, the Get Together Five, Junior Tornadoes, St. Luke Mass Choir, RLM Mass Choir, and the Restoration Choir. Beautine leaves to cherish her memory 6 children, Melvin (Colleen), Kerry, Marshall (Diantha), Clarence, Mary, and Birda (Marshall) Peterson; 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Applin; three children, Brenda, Pat and Freddie; and one grandson. Special thanks to Hospice of Dayton, Mercy Health and Southbrook Nursing facility. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Restored Life Ministries, 1117 Innisfallen Ave, Springfield, Ohio 45505 with funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Jerry W.
