Betty "Bj" Chapman

Betty Jean “BJ” Chapman, 39, of Cincinnati, Ohio was born on July 12, 1982 to Charles and Jessie Chapman. She attended Vine Elementary and Taft High School. Betty was a fun person to be around. She loved to dance, cook and spend time with family, especially her nieces and nephews. She had special names for each of them. Betty was a very outgoing and courageous person. She lived her life the way she wanted and for that, earned her love by many of people. She leaves to cherish her memories, mother, Jessie Chapman; sister, Gurtha Chapman; three brothers, Alfonzo Hayes, Willie Chapman and Antonio Chapman; aunts, Brenda (Earnest) Franklin and Patricia Hayes; uncles, Leon Hayes and Micheal (Janet) Hayes; 18 nephews; 12 nieces and a host of family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her father, Charles Chapman; brother, Orlando Chapman; grandmothers, Ashley Hayes and Gurtha Chapman; and grandfather, Willie Rice, Jr. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at House of Hope Fellowship Church, 1829 Elm Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.
