Beverly Ann Pride

Beverly Ann Pride, 67, of Englewood, Ohio passed away Friday, April 30, 2021. She was born February 12, 1954 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Dewey Malone and Narcis Williams. She was a person who has always been loved. Not only by her beloved mother, but also by her family who contributed to her early upbringing while in Indiana and later in Cleveland, Ohio. Beverly graduated from Wittenberg University in 1976. After graduating summa cum laude with a double major in English and Accounting, she went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. Beverly worked as an auditor for one of the Big Four accounting firms, then joined Dayton, Power & Light (DP&L), later acquired by AES Corporation, where she held a series of progressively responsible positions until retiring in 2014. She became a member of the congregation of the Church of God in Springfield, Ohio while a college student and belonged there for the balance of her life, creating a family of friends and loved ones. In addition to her Church of God family, Beverly leaves to cherish her memory: sister, Denise Renee Williams of Missouri City, Texas; niece, Maya Marie Williams of Euless, Texas; nephew, Anthony James Williams of Missouri City, Texas; cousin, Delores Cruickshank of New Jersey; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Narcis Williams, on August 14, 2014. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Church of God, 709 E. Grand Ave, Springfield, Ohio 45505. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021 in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
