Birtette Sanders

Birtette Sanders, 74, of Dayton, Ohio earned her wings and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born on July 18, 1947 in Black Hawk, Mississippi, daughter of the late John and Lubirta Nalls. She accepted Christ at an early age, joining Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. Birtette graduated from Roosevelt High School class of 1964. She retired from Chrysler after being employed for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, watching western movies, and watching the children play while sitting on the porch. Birtette leaves to cherish her legacy: son, Jonathan Nalls; two sisters, Phyllis Bass and Linda (Lewis) Bradfield; two brothers, James Nalls and Larry Nalls; 11 grandchildren: Kristen Dansby, Jonathan Nalls, LaMica (Jeffery) Carter, Michael (Myshea) Sanders, Jr., Trey’Lann Sanders, LaKeisha Wilson, KaCey Wilson, Mar’Kei Wilson, JaLann Sanders, Kobe Wilson, and Sha’Mya Sanders; 14 great-grandchildren; special cousin, Massie Slaughter; special friend, James Scott; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by daughter, Marny Lynn; and sons, Michael, Sr. (Renae), and Jerome M. Sanders. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 649 Groveland Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45417.
