Cailus Jeaun Parks

Cailus Jeaun Parks, Jr., 28, of Springfield, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 16, 2021. He was born December 13, 1992, a son of Marvetta Johnson and Cailus J. Parks, Sr., and his grandmother, Lee Etta Bailum. He was a man with many talents who loved singing and writing his own music. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church where he attended with his grandparents, Gary (Lee Etta) Bailum. He also loved art and writing poetry and spending time with his family and friends. Cailus leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Marvetta Johnson (Franklin Ellison); father, Cailus Parks, Sr.; siblings, Angela (Jeremy), Jajuana (Bruce), Terry (Monique), Kailes, Rumeka, Darmar, and Nariya; grandmother, Lee Etta Bailum; grandparents, Lee (Elaine) Parks; special brother and sister, Titus and Tajia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Bailum; grandparents, Oscar and Ruby Jackson, Justice and Josephine Parks; cousins, Oscar Jackson, Jr. and Anthony Richardson, Jr. Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 1010 Dibert Ave, Springfield, Ohio 45506. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Ferncliff Cemetery, 501 W McCreight Ave, Springfield, Ohio 45504. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
