Carleda Sue Sechrest

Carleda Sue Sechrest, 60, was called home to Glory on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. She was born on October 6, 1959 in Williamstown, Kentucky to Carl Lee and Dorothy Marie Sechrest (Williams). In 1989, Carleda accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the House of God Apostolic Church, under the leadership of Bishop Robert Campbell, Sr. After her family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, Carleda attended Hughes High School where she majored in Accounting. After graduation, she began her career at 5th/3rd Bank and later worked for Western-Southern Life Insurance Company. Carleda ended her career after working for seven years at Duro-Dyn Company in Hamilton, Ohio. Carleda leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Dorothy Williams; daughter, Danielle Lynn Price; granddaughter Ellie Ka’Lea Carr; one brother, Jacob Sechrest (Terry); six sisters, Donna Robinson, Beatrice Sechrest, Janet Tate, Rebecca Sechrest, Rose Steele, and Angela McWilliams; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Lee Sechrest; and her brother, Jerrimy Westover. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at James Temple Annex, 1119 Lincoln Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ohio Governor and our city officials have set guidelines and procedures to follow during public gatherings of funeral services. These restrictions have been arranged with the family. Please allow the family to have their private time during the services being held at 10:00 a.m. A larger gathering may be held at a future date (to be announced) at the discretion of the family.
