Carol spent her early years in Little Rock, Arkansas and Toledo, Ohio before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1979, where she attended Princeton High School and Scarlet Oaks High School. Carol worked as an STNA caring for the elderly for many years until 1998 when she decided to fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse. Carol endured many obstacles and persevered to graduate from Great Oak’s nursing program in 2001. She worked as an LPN and was well loved by her coworkers and those she cared for.

She served as a licensed Evangelist while under the leadership of the Late great Bishop William M. James, Pastor Joel C. James and Pastor Earl Finney where she served until the Lord called her home. January 9, 2011 Carol and her husband Rickey founded and started Higher Heights Outreach Ministry. The Apostle and Pastor diligently served their ministry impacting lives and the community for 10 years.
