Cassandra Rene Harris

July 29, 1960 — June 6, 2021

Cassandra “San” Rene Denton Harris, 60, of Cincinnati, Ohio departed this life Sunday, June 6, 2021. She was born July 29, 1960 in Birmingham, Alabama to the union of Henry and Louise Brantley. She was the tenth child of eleven. She attended Madisonville Elementary, Lyons Junior High, and then Withrow High School. Cassandra was pioneering to become a faithful and true servant to Jehovah. One of her joys was bringing the word of Jehovah to others. Cassandra met the love of her life, Frank Harris, Jr., in accounting class in 1977 at Withrow High School. They were madly in love at first sight. He recalls the first day how she wore a T-shirt that said, “Do not touch the merchandise.” Cassandra was a highly fashionable person. She made him feel like he stepped his game up just by being with her. He had a Love Jones. They began dating and the courtship was amazing. He still talks about their first date like it was yesterday. They married on a beautiful Thursday morning June 14, 1979 in Newport, Kentucky. They were so young and in love their parents had to sign for the marriage to take place. As their love blossomed, two children were born: Cassandra Renee Harris-Jasper and Christopher Odell Harris. They loved traveling the world and enjoying the life they build. They remained in love until her passing. She loved to cook, travel, and being of service to others. Cassandra also loved to dress and was very fashionable. She loved to go to events and celebrating the accomplishments of others. Cassandra never hesitated to spend time with family and friends. Another of her joys was spending time with her grandchildren, by not only cooking, shopping, and giving them life lessons. Cassandra will be remembered as one of the most loving, caring, and giving people. She had one of the biggest hearts and will truly be missed. Cassandra leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Frank Harris, Jr.; children, Cassandra “Renee” and Christopher; grandchildren, Terrell, Takeo, Travae, Nicholas, Zionna, Kamora, King, and Cassidy; siblings, Charlotte (Greg), Reginald (Clara), Phyllis, Verneica, Brenda, Tashika, and Tonia (Dennis); in-laws, Stan and Cheryl; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends that will continue to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Curtis, Linda and Michael. Cassandra was known as a loving mother in Madisonville. She not only loved but helped raise many young men and women who will miss her as well. Cassandra will be greatly missed. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
