Constance Yavonne Kimber-Elliott, 64, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020. She was born May 13, 1955 to the late Charles and Mary Lue Kimber. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1979 with a degree in Criminal Justice. Connie moved to Toledo, purchased her first home and began working for the Social Security Administration division of Supplemental Security Income (SSI). In 1984 she transferred to Cincinnati, Ohio to be closer to her family. Connie was also a member of the Cincinnati branch of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research. Although Connie had no children, she was a mother to many: Robin, Tenile, Jerome, Jr., Devonner, Ashia, Dyshia, and Jeremiah. She was known as the BEST AUNTIE EVER to all her nieces and nephews. Anyone Connie thought needed help, she gave of herself until there was nothing left to give. She leaves to cherish her memory: Charles, Keith, Bryant, Timothy, and Robin; 14 nieces and nephews; 20 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lue Kimber; brother, Jerome (baby boy), on February 6, 2015; and niece, Dyshia, on September 15, 2018. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at James Temple Church of God in Christ, 1116 Lincoln Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. Interment: Walnut Hills Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
