Davione Laquan Johnson

Davione LaQuan Johnson, 29, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020. He was born on January 22, 1991 in Dayton, Ohio to David Johnson and Roxanne Cooley. He attended West Carrollton High School and graduated in 2010. Davione was such an amazing young man because he valued his family, faith and loyalty. He could always light up a room with his smile. Davione's personality outshined the most through his music and that was his legacy. He was a very loving father to his daughter, Avyon. His grandma, Dorothy Perry, spoiled him rotten. Davione had a heart of gold and would be there for anyone at any given time. Davione leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Avyon Marie Johnson; parents, David (Jamela) Johnson and Roxanne (Rodney) Cooley; siblings, Michael Adams II, Devon Johnson, Domnique Johnson, Thomas Smith, Jr., Jada Johnson, and Imani Balthrope; his grandparents, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Harvest Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 3323 Highview Hills Road, Dayton, Ohio 45417. Interment at West Memory Gardens. NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ohio Governor and our city officials have set guidelines and procedures to follow during public gatherings of funeral services. These restrictions have been arranged with the family. Please allow the family to have their private time during the services being held at 12:00 p.m. A larger gathering may be held at a future date (to be announced) at the discretion of the family.
