Diana L. Riggs

God called for Diana Lynn Riggs on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 after 68 years, 2 months and 13 days of being on earth. She was born in Xenia, Ohio on September 27, 1956 to the late James and Eliza (Noble) Riggs, being the 7th child.

Diana received her certificate in Deaf Studies from Sinclair College. She took great joy in signing songs on stage at her church. In Diana’s own words, she “viewed herself with great simplicity and that Jesus loved her”. She was very faithful to God & Church.

Diana leaves to cherish her memory: brothers, Billy Riggs (Marleene), and James Riggs (Linda); sisters, Mary Brinson, Nancy Riggs (Bob Hardman), and Jeanie Moore (Buddy).

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronnie G. Riggs; sister, Zola C. Ivers; paternal grandparents, Carlos and Mary (Fryman) Riggs; and maternal grandparents, Jake and Nancy (Combs) Noble.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2040 West Second Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385. Interment will be in Byron Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Road, Fairborn, Ohio 45324.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to your favorite charity in Diana’s name. She loved dogs, children, her God, and nature.
