Ericka Denise Applin

Ericka Denise Applin, 45, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born October 27, 1974 in Springfield, Ohio to Brenda Jean Applin and Lawrence Miller. She graduated from Springfield South High School in 1993. Ericka was employed by Southbrook Care Center in the dietary department for approximately 20 years. She found her true calling as a devoted mother and grandmother. Ericka leaves to cherish her memory: her life partner of 29 years, Marques White, Sr.; three children, Marques, Jr., Breann and Genicka White; four grandchildren, Hope, Aveyon, Marques III, and Shakur; three sisters, Sheila Applin, Vikki Applin and Iva Hall; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, William and Beautine (Smith) Applin, and Willie and Earlene Miller. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 in the Kinley Funeral Home Chapel, 1307 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505.
