Florietta Morris

Florietta Morris was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 8, 2022. She was born on December 7, 1942 in Harlem, NY to Jesse Batts and Bessie Bennett. Florietta met the love of her life Robert Morris and they were married on June 12, 1985. They later moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and made their home there. She gave her life over to the Lord and became a member at New Unity Church of God. Florietta leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughters, Susan, Christina, Corinne, Ramona and Ida; sons, Ramon, Rodney and Kevin; grandchildren, Ramon, Ja'nise, LaToya, Nelina, Lonnie, LaTeka, Davilyn, Diara, Chaya, Kyara, Octavia, David Jr.; great grandchildren, Renee, Naseer, Prince, Jase, Janiyah, Gregory, Jai'lah; and many nephews and nieces. She was known to all as "Sister" and will always be remembered for her kind heart and loving spirit. She will be missed but always in our hearts. In addition to her parents, Florietta was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Morris; and brother, Marvin Smith. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM with service to follow at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at New Unity Church of God, 1508 Elm Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.
