Gloria Ann Lewis

Gloria Ann Lewis, 57, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 23, 1964 to the union of A D Lewis and Bettie Ruth Sims. Glo accepted Christ as a young child and later in life joined El-Bethel Baptist Church, which was later renamed Zion Bethel Christian Fellowship. She attended Winter Terrace Elementary School and Mt. Healthy High Schools. Gloria lived a carefree lifestyle. A lot of the people she met became her sister or brother. She called everyone her “Boo Boo”, unless you made her mad. Glo treated everyone with respect and would give you the shirt off her back. Glo leaves to mourn her two children, Davetta Lewis-Thompson (Roderick, Sr.) of North Carolina and Everheart Dozier III; three grandsons, Elijah Lewis, Roderick Thompson, Jr., both of North Carolina and Hasani Finley; three granddaughters, Jordan Thompson, Brielle Dozier and Sincere Dozier; four brothers, Leandrew Lewis (Charlotte), Herbert Lewis, John Lewis and Larry Lewis; five sisters, Flora Adams, Beatrice Lewis, Cynthia Lewis of South Carolina, Debbie Echols (Tony) of Tennessee and Leslie Echols; four aunts, Rosa Mae Dolby of Mississippi, Johnnie Thompkins, Sally Washington and Atlean Sims; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends. Glo was preceded in death by both her parents; step-father, Thomas Echols; her sister, Yvonne Bell (Kirk); and two sisters-in-law, Rosemary Lewis and Dorine Lewis. Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held from 11:00am-12:00pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at St. Mark Christian Fellowship, 820 Ezzard Charles Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45214.
