Helen Marie Hutchins

Helen Marie Hutchins, 79, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019. She was born October 30, 1939 in South Shore Smith Parish Bermuda to William and Alice (Woolridge) Easton. She married Carl 'Mickey' Hutchins in 1967 and in 1968 she moved to Springfield, Ohio. She attended Harrington Sound Primary School, The Girls Institute of Arts, and St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Bermuda. She worked and retired from Hills and Ames Department stores in Springfield, Ohio as a Customer Service Representative and as a Stock Clerk. She shared her time volunteering her service and as an active member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Springfield, Ohio. Helen leaves to cherish her memory: Her loving husband, Carl 'Mickey' Hutchins of 54 years; daughter, Sherry Hutchins; son, Edward (Zoranda) Hutchins and children; sister, Violet (Charles 'Sonny') Charves; brother, Stuart (Nella) Easton; grandchildren, Darrol Alexander II, Shikira Hutchins, Taurus Lambert; great grandchildren, Elijah Alexander, Le'Bryan Beal, Michah Alexander; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by both parents William and Alice (Woolridge) Easton; sisters, Jean Smith, Muriel (Johnny) Marshall; brothers, Sinclare (Gloria) Easton, William 'Yummy' Easton. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Christ Episcopal Church, 409 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505. Interment will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
