Jacqueline Rena Foggie, 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Friday, April 24, 2020. She was born on September 1, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Bishop Dr. Alfred H. and Mother Bernice Nickles. She matriculated at Cincinnati Public schools, attending Courter V. Technical High School. Jacqueline had a passion for modeling. She attended the Lillian Galloway Modeling School. Jacqueline went on to model for Nip Mannequins (Owned by John Brooks) and was blessed with the opportunity to go to New York with her school and participate in a fashion show. After the conclusion of her modeling career, Jacqueline continued her employment, working in various fields including healthcare. Jacqueline confessed Christ at an early age at New Jerusalem Apostolic Church under the leadership of her father, the late Bishop Dr. Alfred H. Nickles. She loved to praise the Lord! Jacqueline loved her church family, and from a young age, under the direction of Sister Ella Mae Garrett, she sang in the choir and wrote a song entitled, “It’s too Late”, which was performed regularly by the church choir. She was united in holy matrimony to Vincent Foggie and to this union were born three children: Vincent, Erica and Nicole. Jacqueline later united in holy matrimony to Michael Jones. Jacqueline leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Vincent Foggie, Jr., Erica LatticeTivis (Alfie, Sr.) and Nicole ZsaZsa Foggie; sisters, Pamela Lavora Nickles and Dr. Marsha Nowell; brother, LaMorris Nickles; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; her church family, New Jerusalem Apostolic Temple; and a precious host of other relatives, loved ones and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Alfred Barry Nickles. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2020 at New Jerusalem Apostolic Temple, 4019-25 Gilmore Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45209. NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ohio Governor and our city officials have set guidelines and procedures to follow during public gatherings of funeral services. These restrictions have been arranged with the family. Please allow the family to have their private time during the services being held at 7:00 p.m. A larger gathering may be held at a future date (to be announced) at the discretion of the family.
