James H. 'J-Dub' White, Sr.

James Howard ( 'J-Dub' ) White, Sr., 65, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away March 15, 2018. He was born February 22, 1953 in Chattanooga, Tennessee a son of Ruthie White and Howard James. James was a devoted father, husband to his entire family. He was baptized at a young age at Sycamore Baptist Church in Talladega, Alabama and later rededicated his life to God at the Walls of Salvation Ministry. He leaves to cherish his memory nine children; four sons, Richard White, Fred Almon, Fredrick Almon, Christopher Thompson; five daughters, Kennetha (Bossy) Almon, Jamie (Anthony) White, Janeka (Skeet) Lawson-Coley, Neikita (Drew) White-Hardy and Karsha White; stepdaughter, Carmen Threats; his loving mother-in-law, Okareta Henry, all of Springfield, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends, Jim Seagal of Louisville, Kentucky, Daryl Bailey of Springfield, Ohio and a special cousin, Beverly White Spencer of Talladega, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Felicia Lawson-White; son, James Howard White, Jr. and his parents. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at El Bethel Temple, 2049 Clifton Ave, Springfield, Ohio 45505. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the service at 1:00 p.m. Final arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
