Jasmine Monae Malone

Jasmine "Jazzy" Monae Malone, 29, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020. She was born October 17, 1990 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the first born of her mother, Alonda Malone, and father, Lamont Theodore Myers. Jasmine was the eldest of five siblings: sisters, Robyn and Jordan; and brothers, Jaylon, Clarence (Byrd) and James. She attended and graduated from Hughes High School in 2012. While in high school, Jasmine was a cheerleader and she loved to draw just like her younger brother James. Jasmine also loved clothes and fashion designing, and had dreams of becoming a fashion designer. She loved to eat. Her favorites were Grippo's and sizzling chicken and cheese with potatoes. Jasmine is now resting in heaven with her two children, Chole Malone and Jade Black; little brothers, James and Clarence “Byrd”; and great-grandmothers, Juanita Montgomery and Edith Mcadoo. She leaves to cherish her memory and will be greatly missed by her two children, Jaywaun Black and Journei Black; mother, Alonda; father, Lamont; grandmothers, Donna Mayo and Clover Phillips; brothers and sisters: Robyn “Robbie”, Jordan “Jordie”, Jaylon “Jbo”, Dejha, Shakaile, Hassan, and Lamont; aunts, La’ Quanda Phillips and Desadra Myers; uncles, Da’Shawn Myers, Darryl Malone and David Malone; great-aunt, Beverly Williams; great-uncles, Joseph Willams, Thomas Malone, Charles Malone, and Gregory Malone; close friend, Sakeenah; and a host of many cousins, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at James Temple Annex, 1119 Lincoln Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45206. NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ohio Governor and our city officials have set guidelines and procedures to follow during public gatherings of funeral services. These restrictions have been arranged with the family. Please allow the family to have their private time during the services being held at 12:00 p.m. A larger gathering may be held at a future date (to be announced) at the discretion of the family.
