Jerry A. Holder

Jerry Allen Holder, 72, of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Springfield Medical Center, surrounded by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Peggy D. Holder. He was born in Springfield on August 13, 1950 to the union of William and Earlene Holder.

A retiree of GSI, Jerry loved fishing with his grandson, Jalen, and doing home improvement with his granddaughter, Shante. Jerry enjoyed watching Netflix with grandson, Westley, and spending time doing a variety of other things with his 31 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Jerry leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife, Peggy Holder; his children: Richard Mays (Daffeny), Christina (Arthur) Mack, Troy A. Holder, Anthony (Doina) Holder, Jerry Holder, and Tiffani (Donnie) Nelson; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Heilda Ragland; special friends, Dave and Curt; and a host of other family and friends.

Jerry Holder was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ann Tilley; and brothers, Gene and William, Jr.

Graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Ferncliff Cemetery, 501 W McCreight Ave, Springfield, OH 45504. Family will receive friends at location announced after service.
