John William Jackson, 35, of Springfield expired on Friday, September 22, 2017 in his residence with his mother at his bedside. He was born June 9, 1982 a son of John Jackson, Jr. of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Geraldine Riggins (Jerry) Richmond of Springfield, Ohio. John graduated from Springfield South High School and was employed as a manager for McDonalds for 9 years. He also worked as a professional Photographer for Kodak Styles for 6 years and most recently worked as a waiter at Cracker Barrel for 6 years. He is survived by his parents, three sisters; Angela Jackson of Dayton, Ohio, Aubrey Wilson of Springfield, Ohio and Stacy Jackson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three brothers, Antonio Wilson and Sean Wilson both of Springfield, Ohio and Jon Jackson II of Chattanooga, Tennessee; grandmother, Willa Richmond; nieces, Jasmine, Shardonay and Aubreonna; nephews, Ajorday, Fred, Lamont, DeChaunte, Kamaree, Fayte, Styles, and Mahari. Special people in Johns life were his god-daughter, Destiny Fate; cousin, Joshua Russell and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Minnie and Will Riggins, Sr.; grandmother, Georgia M. Wilson; paternal grandfather, John Jackson, Sr.; aunt, Helen Riggins and sister, Chaunte Wilson. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Highlight Baptist Church with Visitation one hour prior to service. Burial in Ferncliff Cemetary. Arrangements by Jerry W.
