Joshua A. Brown was born on December 5, 1990 to the union of Teri Brown and Johnnie Brown Jr. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his formal education at South High School in Springfield, Ohio. Joshua was very intelligent, funny and lovable. He was known as a "Gentle Giant' and for being a sweetheart who would give you his last. He treated everyone how he wanted to be treated, which was with love and respect. Joshua left a lasting impression on anyone he met. He was always happy, even when he was sad, and could brighten up any room that he entered. Joshua departed his life on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Springfield, Ohio. He leaves to cherish his two brothers, Caleb Brown and Zacharies Brown, and one sister, Zhane Brown. Three nephews: Timothy Beamon III, Marvell Young and Caleb Brown Jr. Eight nieces: Chloe Mallette, Lashay Mallette, Tamera Mallette, Timi Mallette, Tamesha Mallette, Amariyana West, Ziairah Brown, and Caiale Franklin Brown. Joshua leaves to cherish his precious memories: Grandmothers: Annie Brown and Ally Ford. Grandfather: Johnnie Brown. Three aunties: Kinyetta Dukes, Joyce Lee Weare, and Nichole Lee Ford. Two uncles: Michael Brown and Chadwick Brown. Joshua also leaves behind several extended family members: Nola Beamon (Bigma). Four aunts: Elnora Rushing, Ann Beamon, Linda Beamon, and Patricia Lewis. Four uncles: Chester Beamon, Eddie Beamon, Dennis Beamon, and Levell Beamon. Several cousins: A. R. Gathright, Johnthan Walls, Donovan Evans, Mercarla Williams, Demontrae Williams, Jovani Ward, Marissa Whitson, Raynia Kimbrough, Gabriella Calhoun, Sir Anton Calhoun, Patrice Battles, Queen Beamon, Donald Beamon, Tamaya King, Brandi Burdine, Tina King, and Ashley Williams. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and close friends who will truly miss him. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Highlight Baptist Church in Springfield, Ohio. Visitation begins at 2:00 p.m. with the service at 3:00 p.m. Services entrusted to the Jerry W. Kinley Funeral Home.
