Joshua Timothy Richardson, was born on May 7, 1973 to Joe Ann Erkins and Van Curtis Rawls Jr. Upon his father's death he was raised by his stepfather, Joshua Erkins, who loved him like his own. Joshua transitioned from this life to be in the presence of the Lord on Friday, January 7, 2022. His friends and family lovingly called him "Tut". Joshua was raised in Cincinnati Ohio and attended Cincinnati Public Schools. Joshua received Jesus Christ at an early age at Unity Church of God under the leadership of his grandmother, Pastor Evangelist Marie Penn, who preceded him in death. Joshua was a special soul who was known to be cheerful and full of life. He was known for his beautiful and infectious smile, friendly manner, and loving ways. Joshua had a deep and dear love for his family and friends but most of all, the love he had for his mother was steadily shown without words. Joshua was a God fearing man of integrity, movement, and upright in heart and deeds. Joshua leaves to cherish his life, mother, Joe Ann Erkins; stepfather, Joshua Erkins;, fiancé, Bredia Kelley; children, Joshua, Joshaun, Jabrey, and Keila; sister, Cynthia Erkins; brothers, Kenyatta Erkins, Robert Hankins, Jamar Erkins; ten grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved and appreciated his gift of love. Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM with service to follow at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 1920 Tennessee Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237. Interment Vine Street Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to KINLEY Funeral Home and Arrangement Center.
