Jullian H. Douglas

Jullian Hassan Douglas (Juju), 32, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away quietly at home on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Jullian was born in Cincinnati on October 26, 1990 to Shantay Douglas and Stanley Lightner.

He went to Mt. Healthy High School, but loved to hang out with the many friends and family who lived in Bond Hill. Jullian was a peacemaker to all; his smile, his dimples, and his bear hugs were welcoming and genuine. He was also known for his enormous heart and his listening ear. Jullian truly believed in family. If he didn’t tell you he was “Uncle Luke’, he’d definitely tell you “I got the Juice”. He worked at various jobs throughout his life, but his favorite job was selling cars. Jullian also loved to do landscaping and often volunteered to cut a yard for a neighbor, a friend, or a family member. His best buddy was his Aunt Jeannette; he visited her every chance he could.

Jullian leaves to cherish his memory: two children, Jullianna and Jullian Carey; older brother, Schamell Douglas; sisters, Alexis Douglas, and Sidney Gordon; mother, Shantay Douglas-Smith; stepfather, Vincent Smith; father, Stanley Lightner; great-aunt, Jeanette Harris; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jullian will be greatly missed, but to God be the Glory, for he is at Home with the Lord!

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at New Vision United Methodist Church, 4400 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. Interment: Spring Grove Cemetery.
