Kashawna Nicole Morris, 36, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday, January 29, 2021. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on July 9, 1984 to Kevin Morris, Sr. and Debra L. (Bell) Martin. She graduated from North High School in 2004 and worked for Tac Industries. Kashawna loved listening to music and dancing. No matter where she was, Kashawna was the life of the party—just a ball of light. Shawna was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt. She was a diva and if you knew her, then you know she loved her some long hair. Shawna never was a fake person. If she didn’t like you, you knew it. If you came into any kind of contact with Shawna, you definitely have a story to tell. People even called her “Shawna wanna”, “Shawna girl” and “Mae Mae”. Kashawna leaves to cherish her memory: father, Kevin L. Morris, Sr.; mother, Debra L. Martin, Sr.; aunt, Shelly Bell; sister, Erica Applin; and brother, Wayne Martin, Jr. Visitation will be held at 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Restored Life Ministries, 1117 Innisfallen Ave, Springfield, Ohio 45506. Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
