Kevin Linnere

September 9, 1982 — January 13, 2018

Kevin Dwayne Linnere, 35, passed away January 13, 2018. He was born September 9, 1982 to the union of Verneica Denton Linnere and Mack Linnere, Jr. Kevin was an avid learner having obtained many certificates and degrees over the years from bartending, photography, to what he was currently doing as a Class-A certified truck driver. He did these things to facilitate pursuing the things that he was passionate about; family, music, and photography. Anyone that knew Kevin, knew that he loved those things spending many hours making music, taking pictures, and enjoying his family. He loved people; having never met a stranger. He had a sign posted in the yard that said, "If you are homeless, down on your luck, your mom or your wife kicked you out, "do drop in." It was that love which eventually lead Kevin to what became his new passion, his love for Jehovah God and his word the Bible. He was not an average Bible student, he dug deep into the word of God, which changed his life. He loved spending time with Curt and Uncle Greg talking about the Bible. He worked at cultivating his relationship with Jehovah and it became evident in the person he became. He became a doer and a sharer of the word with anyone who would listen through his many hours spent in the ministry. He took the lead in helping his children learn the word of God as well. He was a family man who loved his entire family including his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and associates until his death. Preceding Kevin in death was his maternal grandfather Henry Brantley; paternal grandmother Carolyn Linnere; uncle Michael Denton; aunt Linda Denton Franklin; cousin Angel Denton and two paternal uncles Frank and Rozell Linnere. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Sommer and their four children Kaiana, Kameron, Kayden, and Kelani; his mother Verneica Denton Linnere; his father Mack (Michele) Linnere Jr.; two brothers W. Anthony Denton, and Jordan Lewis; three sisters, Lineica M. Maupins, Linda M. Buck and Kacie M. Linnere; four nephews Marquis Stone, Gaberial and Joshua Buck and Dean L. Smith; maternal grandmother Louise Brantley, paternal grandparents Mack Sr. and Sherry Linnere; 10 aunts, 5 uncles, and 40 first cousins. The family wishes to thank all who said prayers, sent a card, sent a text, fed the family, or made a call just to comfort us. With all our hearts we thank you and appreciate deeply what was done in our behalf. We pray that all of you be blessed, and have the same peace that we have been supplied from the God of all comfort, Jehovah. (2 Cor. 1:3, 4). Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6395 Roe St, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227. Officiating Elder: Brother Curtis R. Harrison.
