Kimberly Lynn "Ms. Red" Marshall (Kim), 63, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. She was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas Jasper and Beulah Marshall (nee Brinson) and born May 9, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She gave her life to Christ and was baptized at the early age of 4, in 1961 at Corinthian Baptist Church under Pastor Wesley V. Maxie, Sr. She rededicated her life to Christ in 2016, at From the Heart Church Ministries of Cincinnati, Ohio under Pastor Brenda K. White. Kim matriculated through the Cincinnati Public school system and graduated from Cincinnati Job Corps where she honed her skills in culinary cuisine. She sure could cook, and everyone loved her cooking. Her lasagna and coconut cakes were always a hit! She had various types of employment throughout the years. Kim was a Nail Tech (through Larry Moore’s Beauty College) and Shampoo Assistant at Critique Beauty Salon, now called It’s About Hair. She also was a Home Health Aide and Certified Nurse Assistant for many years. Kim also provided daycare services to her grandchildren, her “special nieces” and other family and friends. Throughout the years Kim worked for the Board of Elections and until she was not able to continue, she worked security for the Bengals Games and local concerts at Paul Brown Stadium. To sum it up, Kim was creative, caring, compassionate, and community-minded. Kim lived in various neighborhoods and was affectionately given loving nicknames throughout the years. Most know her as Kim Sue, but she was also called Ms. Sunshine, Ms. Red, Wood, Ethel Sue South Flower, and just good ol’ Aunt Kim. She has been a very fashionable dresser since high school and is known for being one of the best to put an outfit together, along with her signature silver jewelry and ornately decorated fingernails. Kim was truly a giver and would help those in need, whether it was a meal, an outfit, or a place to live. She was truly a servant of God. Kim was also feisty and passionate about the ones she loved, especially her grandkids! Kim was a light to any room she walked in especially on the dance floor! Her life was truly a celebration and her memory will live on forever. Kim leaves to cherish her memory: her daughters, Angel LaWanda Goode and Aftyne La’Cheale Marshall; grandchildren: Corey, A’lijah, A’mauri (Ti’Asia), Ka’mar, Cameron, Ashton, K’lynn, and A’leesia; one great-grandson, Prince-A’mauri; brother, Dr. Lawrence Alan Marshall, Sr.; son-in-law, Andre Goode; sister-in-law, Donna Maria Marshall; nephews: Lawrence, Jr., Landon, and David; niece, Dante; aunt, Leeomie Phillips; special companion, Earl Smith; her bonus sister, Michele Triggs; bonus brothers, Terry Beecher, Harrison and Eric Thatcher; her sister-friends, Wanda Gover-Elliot, Judy Bennett, Deidra Mathews, Tracey Terry, Natasha Wise, Mary Foggie, Kellye North, and Tammie Lancaster; god-children, Brittany and Kymonne Wise; bonus daughter, Shayna Mathews; special nieces, Jefrica Triggs-Brown, Narketta Foggie-Johnson, and LaToya Spraggs; and her favorite cousins: Donna L.
