Kimberly R. Sowards, 53, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020. She was born November 11, 1966. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Kimberly leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Timothy Sowards; sons, Robert Cobb, Jaymali King and Eddie Owens III; grandchildren, Malachi Owens, Mi'Yanah Owens, Jaiyanna Bass, Sai-Rai Cobb, and Kai-Sha Bass; and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2020 in the Kinley Funeral Home Chapel, 1307 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505. NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ohio Governor and our city officials have set guidelines and procedures to follow during public gatherings of funeral services. These restrictions have been arranged with the family. Please allow the family to have their private time during the services being held at 2:30 p.m. A larger gathering may be held at a future date (to be announced) at the discretion of the family.
