La'Nesha S. Banta

La'Nesha Shnae Banta, 28, of Springfield, Ohio left to be with the Lord unexpectedly Thursday, December 16, 2020. She was born February 25, 1992, the daughter of LaRese Watkins and Gary Strodes, Sr. both of Springfield, Ohio. She was a happy, outgoing lady with a beautiful smile that would light up any room. La'Nesha loved her beautiful daughter unconditionally, Ziiaron Gilbert, who was her whole world. La'Nesha was the glue that held her family together and she always put family first. La'Nesha leaves to cherish her memory: her loving sister, Dominique Watkins; brother, Kordell Looney; and fiancé, Robert Cobb III of Springfield, Ohio. She was also loved dearly by her uncles, Marcus Banta and Victor Banta. La'Nesha is also survived by siblings, Amy Watson-Strodes, Gary Strodes, Jr., RaMar Strodes, Zykel Strodes, My’Kel Strodes, Avyara Strodes, Nadia Strodes, and Nazir Strodes; special daughter and dear friend, Ashley Byrd and Shaniarra Anthony; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Grace and Theodore Banta, and Frances Strodes; and sister, Janae Strodes. To know La'Nesha was to love La'Nesha.
