Lillie Jones-Mcmullen

Lillie Jones-McMullen, 65, departed this life Friday, September 4, 2020 and awoke in Jesus arms. She was born May 6, 1955, the daughter of Vivian and William A. Jones. She loved to cook, enjoyed family gatherings, but most importantly cherished her grand-kids that she loved dearly and would do anything for. Lillie leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, James McMullen; daughters, Susan (Matt) McDaniel and Christine (Jason) Hedger; siblings, Milford Jones, Lillian Schalk and Jeffrey Jones; grandchildren, David Edward (Nichole) Hancock III, Lauren (David) Heimpold, Matthew McDaniel, Jr., Brandi McDaniel, and Brandon McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Aubri, Alexia and David Edward Hancock, IV; special friend, Thomas Hedger; and a host of loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William A. Jones; and brother, Wade Jones. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Asbury Tabernacle Church, 11 E. McMillan St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45251. Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery. NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ohio Governor and our city officials have set guidelines and procedures to follow during public gatherings of funeral services. These restrictions have been arranged with the family. Please allow the family to have their private time during the services being held at 1:00 p.m. A larger gathering may be held at a future date (to be announced) at the discretion of the family.
