Lois Allen, 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021. She was born to the late Chester and Christine Dicks on April 30, 1935 . She attended Woodward High School where she graduated. She met the late Edward J. Allen Sr., and was united in holy matrimony on June 25, 1954. To this union four children were born: Paula, Gerald, Donna and Edward. Lois was a member of Greater Liberty Baptist Church. She worked for the University of Cincinnati where she later retired. Lois loved to sew and travel. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Donna M. Allen; son, Edward J. Allen Jr.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great- grandchildren; one brother, Floyd Dicks; one adopted son, Phillip M. Johnson; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lois was preceded in death by her children, Paula and Gerald Allen; her parents; sisters, Martha, Gloria, Vera and Juanita; her brothers, Stephen, Wilbert, Ronnie, George, Demarcia and Michael; her granddaughter, Danielle Allen. Funeral Service will begin at 11 AM with family receiving friends an hour prior on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Kennedy Heights, 6201 Red Bank Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45213.
