Louis Strodes, Jr., 62, of Springfield, Ohio received his wings on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. He was born May 19, 1959 to the late Louis and Mary Strodes. He was a very loving, caring, compassionate, and hardworking man. Louis had a deep love for the Lord and his family. He had an awesome spirit of generosity, a unique sense of humor, a selfless-sincere gift of help, and he will be genuinely missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. Louis leaves to cherish his memory: his three most cherished treasures—Jamey Bradley, Diamond Strodes, and Quality Long; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Pullen and Charles Strodes; a very special niece, Jayona Strodes; his significant other of 25 years, Odessa Eke; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Velma and Mary Beth Strodes; and one brother Phillip Strodes, Sr. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021 in the Kinley Funeral Home Chapel, 1307 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505.
