Marcus William Wilkerson, 35, of Springfield, Ohio unexpectedly drifted into a peaceful sleep on June 6, 2018. He was born to Walter Sparks and Jacalyn (Pebbles) Wilkerson on June 26, 1982. Marcus was a very loving person who cherished family, enjoyed fishing, preparing special dishes for loved ones, and a master of chess. Marcus is survived by his parents; his son, Nasir E. Manley of Bellefontaine, Ohio; sister, Bethani (Maura) Wilkerson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; step-sister, Zuwema Raines of Pittsburg, Pennslyvania; step-brother, Jeremy Dover of Springfield, Ohio; grandmother, Charm Rachael Wilkerson of Springfield, Ohio; a very special aunt, Kellie Sparks of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceding Marcus on his journey was his great-grandmother Lucille M. Armstrong of Phoenix, Arizona. They made their way together, leaving us to miss their embrace on the same day. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. in Greater Grace Temple. Arrangements entrusted to the Jerry W. Kinley Funeral Home.
