Marie A. Davidson

Marie Antoinette Davidson, 69, of Cincinnati, Ohio went home to be with the Most High Yahweh on Sunday, March 26, 2023. She was born August 16, 1953 to the union of Ernest and Ann (Tribble) Davidson.

She completed her education at Withrow High School (1973). Marie was a member of Gaines United Methodist Church where she volunteered her service with different committees. She was also a member of the choir. Marie worked many years at US Shoe until she retired. She grew up in Madisonville with three brothers and two sisters. Marie went by the nickname Cootsie. She made many friends in Madisonville.

Marie was a very outgoing person with a big and bright smile. She had a heart of kindness and would give you her last and her mouth would give you a blast. Marie enjoyed her soaps and coffee. She loved bowling with her lifelong friend, Charles Chappel. Marie enjoyed herself and REALLY-REALLY enjoyed herself at family outings. She loved spending time with her two grandchildren and watching her LMN station.

She demonstrated an overflowing sense of loyalty, love, and commitment to family and friends. Marie was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother.

Marie leaves to cherish her loving memory: her son, Justin Davidson; daughter, Daniele Davidson; siblings, Khaliq Davidson (Qahharah), Angela Short, Dorothy Davidson, Gregory Davidson, Wendell Davidson (Angela), Jody Davidson; lifelong friend, Charles Chappel; two grandchildren, Ny'Asia Davidson, and De'Vante Davidson (Betty Newbill); and a host of loving family and friends, including Lester Givens.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Davidson; father, Ernest Davidson; and son, Jamie Davidson.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Christ Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church, 3060 Durrell Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45207. Interment: Crown Hill Memorial Park & Mausoleum.
