Obituary for Ms. Maxine P. Miller Maxine P. Miller, 83, of Springfield, Ohio departed this life and transitioned into eternal life on Monday, July 24, 2017 in Southbrook Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 20, 1934 to Otis Sr. and Beatrice (Gideon) Owens in Springfield, Ohio. Maxine was a faithful member of Restored Life Ministries in Springfield, Ohio. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Lucritia (Larry) Kemp, Kendall (Chester Jr.) Mabra, and Jowana (Melvin) Belle all of Springfield, Ohio; two sons, Chester (Sharon) Cole Jr. and Bryan (Constance) Miller all of Columbus, Ohio; four sisters, Mozella Stevens, Eunice Carter, and Joyce (Larry) Wilson all of Springfield, Ohio and Eleanor Guy of Dayton, Ohio; one brother, Bobby (Sarah) Owens; 17 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 40 years, Robert Miller; one grandson, Chase Miller and two great-grandsons, Amare Smith and David Payne Jr., two sisters and five brothers. Visitation will be at Restored Life Ministries Monday, July 31, 2017 at 5-7pm. Mrs. Millers Homegoing Celebration will begin at 7pm with Pastor Larry D. Coleman officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Ferncliff Cemetery at 10am. Homegoing Services are being provided by Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
