Melvin Eugene Powell, 55, of Springfield, Ohio passed away in his home unexpectedly on Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was born March 8, 1967 to Melvin Fisher and Mae Powell. He often preached at his church and helped feed the homeless. Melvin has a community of people who love him and will miss him for many, many years to come. Melvin leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Marcedes Powell, Dontea Powell, Jeremiah Powell, Martel Powell, Jayla Powell, Brandace Campbell, Brandon Campbell, Dayron Mapp, Melvin Powell, Jr., Breon Campbell, Bryan Campbell, and Asia Powell; his father, Melvin Fisher; two siblings, Kiesha Baker and Paul Powell, Sr.—who love him dearly; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
