Michael A. Archdeacon, Sr.

Michael Alan Archdeacon, Sr., 76, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at the VA Palliative and Hospice Unit. He was born August 12, 1947 to John and Florence (Jacobson) Archdeacon.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a Free Mason. Michael had a large loving family whom loved him dearly and will continue to carry him on in memory.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Jennette Archdeacon George; son, Michael Archdeacon II; daughter-in-law, Dena Cook Archdeacon; brother, John Archdeacon; sister, Kathaleen Archdeacon Hencinz; grandchildren: Danica Archdeacon Leonard, Jessica Archdeacon Baker, Alexis George, Michael Archdeacon III, and Jacquelyn Archdeacon; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Batesman Archdeacon; father, John Archdeacon; and mother, Florence (Jacobson) Archdeacon.

Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third St, Dayton, Ohio 45428.
