Michelle R. Lemmings

Michelle Renae Lemmings, 49, of Springfield, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 17, 2018, and went to be with the Lord. She was born November 20, 1968 to Virginia (Sumner) Miller and the late John H. Miller III. Michelle graduated from Northeastern High School in 1986; and then joined the Army where she received an Honorable Discharge. Michelle attended and graduated from Community Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She received many accolades during her 15-year nursing career; and was highly admired and respected by patients as well as peers. Michelle was proceeded in death by her father, John H. Miller III; sister, Tisa Campbell, and 13-year companion, Terry Rabbitt. She is survived by her mother, Virginia Miller; brothers, John (Cindy) Miller, Bob (Lisa) Miller; sister, Crystal Long; children, Derrick Stapleton (Krista Cantillas); Heather Parsley and Melissa Lemmings; grandchildren, Arianna, Jasmine and Emerson Stapleton; Kayleigh Cantillas and Jayden Parsley, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pastor Sim Bowen will speak at Michelle's Memorial Service, which will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at My Church, 334 South Plum Street.
