Muka Muyaya, 69, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Monday, January 2, 2023. Pastor Muka, whose real name is Muyaya Kalonga Ntolo, was born on July 5, 1953 in Lubondaie Ntolo. From father Kalonga Ntolo and mother Mbombo Muyaya in a family of 13 children, 7 of whom are still alive. He is survived by 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
After his primary studies in Leopoldville (today Kinshasa), he completed his secondary studies in Muanda in Central Congo. In 1971 he joined the Congolese national army in Kitona where he obtained the rank of Warrant Officer. In 1973 he entered the Technical Institute of Gombe in Kinshasa and obtained a degree in Auto mechanics with the rank of second lieutenant. Assigned as garage manager at the logistics base in Kinshasa.
He took part in the competition to go and do engineering courses in the USA and succeeded with the greatest distinction before going to the USA in 1985, where he did the rest of his studies. In the USA he earned several accolades with the US Army.
He excelled academically. He earned associate degrees in both business and mechanical engineering from Cincinnati Technical College (Cincinnati State University), a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Cincinnati and a masters of arts in practical ministries from the Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary. He was pastor and founder of NBI Ministry until the end of his days.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service at 9:30 am on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at St. Mark Christian Fellowship Church, 820 Ezzard Charles Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45214. Interment: Spring Grove Cemetery.
