She was called home on the early morning of December 13, 2021, surrounded by loved ones & her beloved dog, Dallas, after a tough battle with cancer. After moving with her parents to Columbus Ohio, at a very young age, Nancy helped her parents by obtaining a job at the local Wendy’s, where she worked with her mother. Nancy earned her GED and utilized her work ethic to obtain a job working as a Communications Operator, a role in which she carried out until being diagnosed with her illness in April 2020. By 1993 Nancy had three children with James E Jackson Jr. She then found her love for God and joined her church home, Pentecostal House of Prayer of all Nations. She also shared her love for music by joining the Capital City Mass Choir (CCMC). In 2003, Nancy married her longtime friend, Perry D. Reeves. In 2006, Nancy then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, starting a new life and met her special friend, Ray Wilson. She resided there until her death. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Perry D Reeves (Columbus, OH); her children, Shamir Jackson (Cincinnati, OH), De’Darius Jackson (Columbus, OH) and Candace (Brittany) Evans (Cincinnati, OH); a loving mother, Margaret (Willie) Hilton (York, PA); siblings, Douglas Wilson (Columbus, OH), Henry (Angie) Hilton (York, PA) and Stacie (Alfonso) Huckleberry (Cincinnati, OH); grandchildren, Dyani Guy (Cincinnati, OH) and Nyleah Jackson (Columbus, OH); special friend, Ray Wilson (Cincinnati, OH); beloved dog, Dallas; and a host of family, friends, & loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Wilson; and stepfather, Willie Hilton. Nancy will forever be remembered as a fun, loving and devoted mom who enjoyed helping people and always made others laugh. To know her is to love and fear her. She was an awesome soul and is a fine example of a Phenomenal Woman! She will truly be missed. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
