Nazir Amari Miller, 6, was born on July 7, 2015 to Demetrious and Maria Miller, a mere 368 days after his big brother, Marlon Miller. Nicknamed Miracle Boy, Nazir spent his first four months in the neonatal intensive care unit and after months of warrior strength was discharged. He passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Over the course of time spent with family and friends, Nazir grew to be a Mickey Mouse fan, reading books or throwing items out of his bed to get his brother’s attention. Nazir championed through many different health challenges with the love and support of his family members, friends and associates. Nazir is survived by his parents, Demetrious and Maria Miller; big brother, Marlon Miller; grandparents, Denise Miller-Dearing, Mitchell and Joyce Compton; great grandparents, Johnny and Dessie Larkin; Aunts, Katara, Joyell (Kristen), Ratonya (Chris); uncles, Tyshaun (Joanna) and Tye (Chandler). Nazir's life will be celebrated on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 12:00 pm with an 11:00 am visitation. At the family's request, location of services will remain private.
