Newart L. Williams

Newart LaJuane Williams, 44, was born on October 15, 1976 to the late Newart Tanner and Joanne Williams Tanner in Chicago, Illinois. He departed this life on Monday, July 25, 2021. Newart moved from Chicago with his mother and two siblings to Cincinnati, Ohio, his mother’s home town in 1978. He grew up in Millvale and attended Millvale Elementary and Western Hills High School. Newart has always been a very giving and caring individual to his family and friends. He had unconditional love for his children, NyArri “Babygirl “ and his two sons, Denarius and Derrick. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Joanne Jackson; two sisters, Tennille Tanner and Shannon Tanner; daughter, NyArri; stepfather, Frederick Jackson; nephews, Donte Mumphrey, William Starks; nieces, Alexsha Daniels, BreAnna Beach, Kenya Williams, Teonna Cameron and Mesha Franklin; his best friend and NyArri’s mother, Keshia Williams and her two sons, Shamaud Williams and Dearius Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Newart Tanner; oldest brother, McKinley “Kenny “ Williams, whom was his best friend; his brother, Stanley Smith; his maternal grandparents, Ruth and Joseph Williams; paternal grandmother, Lena Tanner. Newart was loved by many and will be truly missed. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at New Jerusalem Apostolic Temple, 4019 Gilmore Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45209.
