Pamela Y. Ransome

Pamela Yvonne Snodgrass-Ransome, 56, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday, January 8, 2021. She was born May 24, 1964 in Springfield, Ohio to Frances Snodgrass-Garrett and Virgil L. Fisher who raised her and her biological father, Robert Higginbotham, all deceased. She attended Springfield City Schools to the 11th grade. Pam worked as a State Tested Nursing Assistant and Home Care Aide in both Springfield and Columbus, Ohio for over 20 years. She loved to dance, skate, shop, and spend money. Pam leaves to mourn her passing: husband, Ron Ransome of Columbus, Ohio; two devoted sons, Marcus (Fish Grease) Fisher and Marwan (Fudgy) Snodgrass both of Springfield, Ohio; fathers of her children, Vincent Bray and Virgil (Craig) Perrin both of Springfield, Ohio; brother, Miguel (Mike) Martinez of Springfield, Ohio; sister, Monica Richardson of Huber Heights, Ohio; six grandchildren, Marwan Snodgrass II, Hunter Bronston, Marcus Fisher, Jr., Tony Fisher, TaMarcus Fisher, and Machiya Fisher; aunts, Patrice (Raphael) Abdul-Rahman of Seattle, Washington, Geraldine Martin, Donna Sue Higginbotham-Williams, and Dianne Higginbotham-West all of Springfield, Ohio; uncle, Edward (Helen) Hawthorne of Huber Heights, Ohio; great-aunt, Jocinta Holloway of Dayton, Ohio; great-uncle, Robert (Chops) Long of Springfield, Ohio; and a host of cousins and friends. A special thank you to Jessica Tilley for her care and service to Pam in her final months. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Anthony (Tony) Snodgrass; uncles, James (Rail) Compton and Keith Compton; aunts, Regina Snodgrass-Stevens, Annabelle Snodgrass-Drake, and Yvonne Snodgrass; maternal and paternal grandparents; and maternal great-grandmother, Juanita Long. Per Pam’s wishes, there will be no services. Repast will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Special thank you to Kinley Funeral Home and staff for their service.
