Philip Tamar Howard

Philip Tamar Howard, 36, of Piqua, Ohio went home to be with his Heavenly Father Saturday, February 8, 2020. He was born November 9, 1983 a son of Sahalla Nickerson and Kenny R. Howard in Springfield, Ohio. He received his high school diploma from Springfield North High School. Philip was a construction worker and worked well as a landscaper. His dream was to own his own landscaping business. Philip was a devoted father to his daughter and two stepdaughters. The most important thing to him was his family and friends. Philip enjoyed having a good time. He was always listening to music or singing and making jokes. Philip loved spending time with his significant other, as well as, other loving friends and family. He was very protective of his sisters and loved everyone he met. Philip leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Sahalla (Darren) Nickerson; father, Kenny (Alicia) Howard; daughter, Lylah Howard; stepdaughters, Jewelle Craycraft and Shayana Anderson; sisters, Esdonna, Naquita, Latisha, Desiree, Tamia, and Tamera Howard, and Kiana; cousins, but considered brothers, Elijah and Bryce Howard; special others, Danielle Jennings and Amanda Emrick; foster brother, Jeremy Edley; nieces, Zayveana and Tyana Crossley and Jailyen Knight; nephews, Trey, Tyaren, and Jokell Brown, Jamar Jordan, and Jaidon Knight; his Sidney family, Alicia Howard, Tommy (Betty) Henderson, Lashonda Henderson, Korey (Chastity) Henderson, Tommy (TJ) Henderson, Jr., and Dominic Durr; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ester and Donald Howard; grandmother, Ruby Sanford; foster parents, Martha and Howard Edley; sister, Shonda Howard; uncles, Wayne "Tony" and Steven Howard; aunts, Tina Storey and Kimberly Howard; cousins, Jason and Eric Howard; as well as, many other family members.
