Portia Lynn Gibson

Portia Lynn Gibson, 65, of Cincinnati, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 24, 2020 while under Twin Towers’ Hospice Care. She was born December 21, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio a daughter of Gloria Terrell. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a young age at Union Baptist Church. Portia attended Hughes High School and graduated in 1973. She took an early retirement after serving many years of working. Portia leaves to cherish her memory: her only son, Daryl D. Gibson II (Tomeiko); grandsons, Mikel Reese, Malachi Payne, Zaire Gibson, and Zavier Gibson; granddaughter, Zoey Gibson; cousins, Kym A. Terrel, Debra Sullivan and Judy Gibson; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A private visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. (Family Only) on Monday, October 5, 2020 at Union Baptist Church, 405 W. 7th St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
